AFTERBURNERS

The burn-off process involves heating of the substrate to 300-400°C which induces a slow decomposition that enables carbonization of the organic matter starting from 320°C. The released smoke travels through an afterburner chamber operating in the range of 750-900°C. Because the smoke is completely oxidized in the afterburner, no harmful contaminates are emitted to the atmosphere. After the automatic cycle is complete, normally after 3-8 hours, all that remains is an organic ash. With burn-off ovens environmental impact is minimized and operator safety is maximized.
